I’m so happy that I took the plunge (no pun intended) and signed up for the Deep Dive into Goldwork.  Sara is an amazing tutor and has thought of everything to make this an enjoyable and achievable course.  I would highly recommend Sara and her fabulous course without hesitation.

I am writing as a student of Sara Rickards who has been thrilled to learn all of the new techniques in her Deep Dive into Goldwork course. We are into the 3rd term and I am in awe of Sara's abilities--both as an embroiderer and as a teacher. This is the third course that I've taken from Sara and I plan on signing up for a fourth.

Sara clearly enjoys teaching and likes interacting with people which gives the course a great atmosphere (both online and in person). Her explanations are crystal clear, she has additional recordings of her Zoom classes that allow reference to the demonstration, and even her kits are clearly explained and well-ordered. Sara always comes up with beautiful things to do and is very patient as we less experienced/talented students try to imitate her techniques. I don't think that any of us can go wrong by learning from such a creative, patient person.

Sara is an excellent teacher. Not only does she show the history and technical execution of stitches and techniques, but she also shows us how to modify and develop the techniques. She supports, advises, and encourages us when we are stuck.

I have completed both the Deep dive into Goldwork and Stumpwork courses and find Sara a very clear tutor who is very patient with her students . Nothing is too much trouble and I have looked forward to the zoom course each week on both the courses. I shall be signing up for the course next year.
